metaphor: And the coming wind did roar more loud

i chose this metaphor because it’s talking about one thing then it adds something different but it’s actually talking about the same thing.

My ten lines: The loud wind never reached the ship, yet now the ship moved on! Beneath the lighting and the moon the dead men gave a groan.

History Homework how king Harold died

I think King Harold was killed by an arrow in the eye or by a sword because the evidence suggests the Normans in 1066 used those weapons most for battles. I believe King Harold was targeted by the Normans because they didn’t want him to be king of the Anglo-Saxons.

Rime of the Ancient Mariner part the 4th summary

1.All of the Mariners crew members shot a stare at the Mariner and all of their eyes glowed for one second and cursed the Mariner shortly after that the crew members dropped to the floor one by one.

2. All guests were scared of the Mariner because they believed the Mariner killed all of the crew members.

3. The Mariner was trying to pray but he couldn’t because of the curse that the crew members put on him.

4. Under the ship changed colour because of fish. The passengers were saying the fish were ugly and how disgusting they are, but the Mariner saw differently. He saw them as harmless creatures so he blessed them and worshiped them.

5. After the albatross fell from his shoulders and slowly fell into the water, the curse had ended for the Mariner. The wind picked up around the boat and rain fell giving them water to drink. He was also able to pray for his crew mates and they came back to life.

My metaphor: The wind picked up around the boat. This represents the curse being lifted and along with it the spirits and hope.
